Sat at the bar. Service was very interesting. Our individual server was fine, but she only took the order and brought the drinks. There was a sushi chef stationed in front of us. He made some of our dishes. He barely announced the dish. The main chef was a very nerdy looking frail white guy with a graying wizard beard. He explained maybe one or two of their more signature courses (jamachi). The other chef would just bring over food and barely announce the dishes. No Japanese/asian staff, if that matters. Served us the unagi and striped jack last.
Recommendations for next time: sit at a table with a server, order the Hamatoast and Yaki Gindara x2. Skip the uni, chutoro, and crudo.
